What is Repartee?
Repartee is a Windows desktop app that supports you during English job interviews. It listens to the interviewer, shows a transcript, an Indonesian translation, and the core of the question, then drafts a short English answer script (3–5 sentences) from your own profile.
Who is Repartee for?
Indonesian candidates and freelancers whose skills are real but whose English gets in the way when asked on the spot: job interviews, including remote jobs with companies abroad, and client calls.
Can I use it for work meetings, not just interviews?
Yes. Pick Meeting mode in the strip and paste the meeting notes (project status, agenda, decisions). Answers are built only from those notes; anything not in them gets “I need to check that”. Questions asked in English are answered in English, questions in Indonesian in Indonesian, and you can switch the transcription language mid-meeting with the EN/ID button. Afterwards the recap lists the summary, decisions, follow-ups, and the other side's promises.
How does Repartee work with Zoom or Google Meet?
Repartee picks up the interviewer's voice from your laptop's speakers or headset, so nothing needs to be installed in the meeting app. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, or meetings in the browser. The Repartee strip appears on top of the meeting window.
Can the interviewer see Repartee?
The Repartee strip is designed to stay out of screen sharing, using a Windows feature that excludes a window from screen capture. Results can differ between meeting apps and computers, so test your own setup before an interview, for example by sharing your screen to a second account.
Does Repartee make up answers?
No. Scripts are built only from your profile (CV, LinkedIn PDF, GitHub, and stories you type). Every script is checked in two layers before it is marked verified; sentences with no source in your profile are dropped. If you haven't done something, the script mentions similar experience or how you would learn it.
Can I try it for free?
Yes. New accounts get 20 free minutes, valid for 14 days, up to 10 minutes per session, with local transcription. The trial is given once per email and per device. No card needed.
How much does it cost? Is there a subscription?
There is no subscription. You buy a one-time minute package: 1 hour for Rp 49,000, 3 hours for Rp 119,000, or 10 hours for Rp 299,000. Minutes are counted from the live session timer, per started minute.

Is there a Mac or Linux version?
Not yet. Repartee currently runs only on Windows 10 and 11 (64-bit).
What goes into my profile?
Your CV, LinkedIn profile PDF, GitHub account, and experience stories you type yourself. You review the profile summary before it is used.
Which languages are supported?
Questions in English or Indonesian; the transcription language is picked in the strip (EN/ID button) and can be switched mid-session. English questions are translated into Indonesian and answered in everyday English; Indonesian questions are answered in Indonesian.
How fast do scripts appear?
The first sentence usually shows about two seconds after the interviewer finishes the question. While the full check runs, the script is marked as being checked.
How long are the answer scripts?
Usually 3–5 short sentences that flow like someone talking, with no idioms, matched to your English level. They are meant to be easy to read and say in your own words.
Do purchased minutes expire?
No. Purchased minutes last until you use them. Only trial minutes are valid for 14 days.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, for unused minutes, within 7 days of purchase. Email support@repartee.cloud from your account address. Used minutes and trial minutes cannot be refunded.
How do I pay?
Through Duitku: QRIS, virtual account, or e-wallet. You buy minutes in the dashboard after signing in.
How many devices can I use?
One activation code works on up to 2 devices. If a code is lost or shared, create a new one in the dashboard; the old code stops working right away.
Where is my data stored?
Your profile, transcripts, scripts, and interview recaps are stored on your laptop. The app only contacts our server for your account, minute balance, and AI and transcription processing; interview text and audio are passed on to those providers without being stored on our server.
What is local transcription?
Transcription that runs on your laptop, so interview audio never leaves your computer. It is free for everyone, English only, and its model (about 480 MB) is downloaded once. Paid packages use cloud transcription, which is more accurate for accents.
Does it do anything besides live interview help?
There is a practice mode, preparation from a job post, and a recap after each session. None of them use your minutes.
Is it okay to use Repartee in an interview?
Follow the rules of the company, interviewer, or platform you are dealing with. If they forbid assistance tools, do not use Repartee there. Repartee is built to help you express experience you really have, not to invent it.
