Privacy Policy

In short

• Your profile, CV, job post notes, transcripts, scripts, and interview recaps stay on your own computer, not on our servers.
• Interview audio goes straight from the app to the transcription provider and is not stored on our servers.
• Text the AI needs (questions, profile excerpts) passes through our server to the AI model provider and is forwarded without being stored.
• We only keep what is needed for your account, minute balance, devices, and payments.

Data we keep

• Account: email address, when it was verified, an approximate country from your IP address at sign-up, and a password hash if you sign in with a password (we cannot read the password itself).
• Activation codes: only a hash and the first 8 characters; we cannot read the full code back.
• Devices: a device fingerprint (a hash of the Windows machine ID, not the ID itself), the computer name so you can recognise it in the dashboard, and when it was last used.
• Usage: start and end of live sessions, minutes charged, transcription type (cloud or local), and token counts, model name, and cost of each AI call. Question and answer content is not stored.
• Payments: order number, package, amount, status, and Duitku reference. Card, bank, or e-wallet details never reach us.
• Security: IP addresses (grouped per network) to limit excessive sign-in attempts, deleted after about a day. Hosting providers also keep technical access logs for a limited time.

How we use it

• Signing you in to the dashboard (email link, password, or Google) and keeping you signed in.
• Activating the app on your devices (at most two per code).
• Counting and deducting minutes, and granting one trial per email and per device.
• Processing payments and refunds.
• Preventing abuse, fixing problems, and sending important notices about your account.

We do not sell personal data, show ads, or run analytics trackers on this website.

Who else processes data

To run the service, some data is processed by the providers below. Some are outside Indonesia (including the United States and Singapore); we only send what each function needs.

• Deepgram: turns interview audio into text (paid packages). Audio is sent directly from your app with a short-lived permission from our server.
• OpenRouter and the AI model providers behind it (for example OpenAI, DeepSeek): translations, answer scripts, and recaps.
• Duitku: payment processing (QRIS, virtual accounts, e-wallets).
• Sender.net: sign-in and verification emails.
• Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google sends us your email address and whether it is verified.
• Neon (database, Singapore region), Cloudflare, and our server/hosting providers: storing and serving account data, the website, downloads, and backups.

Each provider follows its own privacy policy. With local transcription, interview audio never leaves your computer.

Retention, backups, and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. The database is backed up daily; older backups are deleted automatically in stages and kept for at most about 12 months.

If you ask us to delete your account, account data, codes, devices, and usage history are removed from the database. Payment records may be kept as long as tax and financial regulations require.

Data on your computer (profile, interview history) is under your control: delete the .repartee folder in your Windows user folder or uninstall the app.

Your rights

You may ask for a copy of your personal data, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent to processing. Email support@repartee.cloud from your account address; we respond as soon as possible in line with the Personal Data Protection Law.

Cookies

This website uses a single session cookie (HttpOnly) to keep you signed in to the dashboard. No advertising or analytics cookies.

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Activation codes and sign-in tokens are stored only as hashes. Access to servers and service keys is restricted. No system is completely immune; if a breach affects you, we will notify you as the law requires.

Age

Repartee is meant for users aged 18 or over, or younger users with a parent's or guardian's permission.

Changes and contact
